Our Story

Welcome to Yellow & Co!

More than eight years ago, people kept walking through our doors looking for a gift shop. They'd wander in, look around, and ask, "Is this a store?"

At first, the answer was no.

But after hearing that question enough times, we started to wonder if maybe they were onto something.

What began as a small collection of gifts and handmade goods quickly grew into something much bigger. One move led to another, then another, and before long Yellow & Co. had grown into the boutique you see today.

We've called three different spaces home over the years, and each move has allowed us to dream a little bigger. What hasn't changed is our mission: creating a welcoming place filled with thoughtful gifts, beautiful things, and unexpected finds.

Today, Yellow & Co. is a carefully curated gift boutique located in Mahomet, Illinois. We believe shopping should feel inspiring, not overwhelming. Whether you're searching for the perfect birthday gift, a little something for a friend, or a treat for yourself, we want your visit to feel like discovering treasures rather than checking off a to-do list.

Inside you'll find a mix of gifts, home goods, books, candles, local makers, pantry favorites, seasonal collections, and plenty of things you didn't know you needed until you saw them.

We're proud to be a small, independent business that has grown because of the support of our community. Every purchase helps us continue doing what we love: bringing beautiful, meaningful, and often delightfully unexpected things to our corner of the prairie.

Thanks for being part of our story.

We're glad you're here.
