Can you believe we're already just a few weekends away from the 4th of July?
I've always had a soft spot for Independence Day. Growing up in a capital city and later becoming a military mom, I never quite lost my appreciation for a good parade, a little pageantry, and an excuse to watch fireworks. Maybe it's also because I vividly remember the Bicentennial—1976 was a whole mood. Special quarters, eagles, eagles on everything, and red white and blue as far as the eye could see.
I keep our 4th of July collection intentionally small at the shop since summer tends to be a little quieter around here. But that just means every item earned its spot. I gathered a handful of fun finds that will add a little extra sparkle to your cookouts, porch parties, and backyard celebrations—while serving up just the right amount of vintage 1976 charm.
Whether you're feeling patriotic, nostalgic, or simply looking for an excuse to decorate with tiny flags and stars, I think you'll find something to love.
Come visit us in our darling shop in Mahomet, Illinois. We are located in the Patton District, a cluster of great shops and restaurants on Mahomet's East Side off of Highway 150.
